Who we are
Padel Road Trip is a specialist padel travel brand and part of Sporting Escapes Group. We are affiliated with InteleTravel UK, under ABTA membership number P7384. InteleTravel UK are appointed agents for our suppliers who are ATOL holders. Padel Road Trip is a trading name of Cherished Group Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 14318085, registered office Willoughby House (Office 7), 2 Broad Street, Stamford, England, PE9 1PG), which is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. References to "we", "our" and "us" in this notice mean Cherished Group Limited trading as Padel Road Trip.
What information we collect
When you enquire, plan a trip or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address and (optional) phone number.
- Details about your group, playing level, preferred dates and destination.
- Indicative budget per person and the type of padel trip you're considering.
- The contents of any message you send us, including travel preferences and questions.
- Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, via cookies and analytics where consented.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and help you plan a padel trip.
- Source quotes from suppliers (accommodation, courts, coaching, transfers) on your behalf.
- Manage bookings and the relationship between you, our suppliers and InteleTravel UK.
- Send you occasional marketing communications about padel trips and offers — only where you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Meet our legal, regulatory and ABTA Code of Conduct obligations.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases: (a) your consent, where you have opted in to marketing; (b) performance of a contract, where we are arranging a trip you have asked us to book; (c) legitimate interests, where we respond to an enquiry you have sent us; and (d) legal obligation, where we are required to retain records for regulatory or tax purposes.
Who we share your information with
We only share your information with parties who genuinely need it:
- InteleTravel UK, our ABTA-affiliated host agency, where required to progress a booking.
- Suppliers (hotels, resorts, padel clubs, coaches, transfer providers) for the specific trip you are enquiring about.
- Technology providers we use to operate the website, store enquiries and send email — under written contracts that meet UK GDPR requirements.
- Regulators or authorities where we are legally required to do so.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with other Sporting Escapes Group brands for unrelated marketing without your consent.
How long we keep your information
Enquiry records are typically kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back to us. Booking records are kept for a minimum of 6 years to meet UK financial and ABTA record-keeping requirements. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete information where there's no good reason for us to keep it.
- Object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent where consent is our legal basis.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
